Reid Wiseman did some outstanding Earth photography from  ISS, as part of Expedition 40/41.  He arrived on May 28, 2014 and returned to Earth Nov 10, 2014, after 6 months in this marvelous outpost in space. This was his first mission on ISS, but he took superb photos - like a real pro!  He took tens of thousands of photos, and has over 300,000 twitter followers!

Describing his photo of Italy at night (in the slide show on the right), he wrote:

"I looked on in awe and was rendered speechless by so much beauty."

Reid is a former test pilot for the Navy. He is married and has two daughters.
